I have only been here for 6 months, and I still have six more months in front of me, but already I can tell you something. I spent the best six months of my life. I knew that doing an exchange was the best idea I ever had and that it would probably change my life. Indeed, people that I have met, most of them were amazing. My host families are now a part of my family, I will never forget them. Each of them are different but so endearing and nice. They make every day in your exchange a moment of pleasure. And what to say about the relationships that you make with the other exchange students! It’s just unbelievable. I never thought that I could have a bond so strong with another person. We are now all the best of friends, although we come from different places all around the world. I have grown so much in these past few months and I am now able to take my own decisions and that’s why I did this exchange, to meet people and grow as a person. And what about the language! I did not even speak English before I came here and now look, I wrote this text for you, to show what you are able to do thanks to this exchange student. This program established by the Rotary is amazing, so if you have the possibility to do it, don’t even think about it, just do it. I am so thankful for this opportunity and I have no regrets.
