This exchange year has changed my life significantly. I wasn’t independent like I am now. For example, my mom back home would always make my lunch and take care of things for me. Now I get up every morning on my own, make my lunch, and even do my own laundry! I’m proud that I’m able to take care of myself now. Since I have been here, I have made new friends from all over the world. Everyone is unique and amazing. I especially love spending time with my friends which is to me the most precious. I have gone to new places, learned new cultures, and tried new things. I’m having lots of special experiences here. This is the most wonderful year I have ever had. I am thankful to be a Rotary exchange student!
